This Elmhurst Art Museum wedding couldn’t have been more fun. I loved the Museum as the venue for the wedding–it made for an awesome and unique spot for the ceremony. Despite some rain that day, the clouds opened up just for portrait time around Wilder Park, and Carolyn + Tony wandered around the Wilder Mansion and Wilder Park greenhouse while we made some beautiful images with the spring magnolias blooming in the background. I loved the personal touches throughout the day–like Carolyn’s fascinator and hair piece custom made by her maid of honor’s mother (who happens to be an amazing milliner), her pink engagement ring stone, and the paper airplanes mixed into the centerpieces. Guests loved the food stations where they could choose to eat Mediterranean, Chop House, and Asian cuisine. Sarah from Toast & Jam kept the party going with her perfect tunes and everyone was having a great time until the end of the night. Carolyn + Tony very clearly love and care for each other–I caught so many moments where they were kissing, looking into each other’s eyes, and enjoying a moment when they thought no one was looking. I wish them all the best as they truly start life together! XO Big shout out to Jessica Philippo for being an awesome second shooter for me on this one!
