Sarah + Steve//Wedding//Grace Church of Dupage//Arrowhead Golf

Sarah and Steve got married on Father’s Day this June. Everything about the wedding was gorgeous–from the gray and yellow color palette to the incredible message given during the ceremony by Sarah’s brother Joseph, to the bright reception venue and decor–not to mention a gorgeous bride and groom!  There were thirteen bridesmaids, which could have been a whole wedding party unto itself, but was a testament to strong bonds between family and friendship. Many things made this wedding unique–like Best Man Charlie’s song, sung as a toast to the bride and groom. It was complete with a chorus of groomsmen and kazoos. Another highlight for me was seeing the miniature cheer squad during the dancing, which was mostly made up of Sarah and Steve’s nieces, literally choreographing dances like 60’s backup singers and shouting things like “DADS RULE!” (that one was during the Father-Daughter number of course). I was thrilled to have a few minutes to steal Sarah and Steve out of the party for some photos against the sun setting in the clouds over the golf course….resulting in some great images. What a beautiful, beautiful wedding! Thank you also to Amy Coles for coming with me to second-shoot.
