Mindy and Taylor were married in Harbor Springs, Michigan (for those of you who don’t know, Harbor Springs is up near Traverse City). This wedding was special to me because Mindy is my sister-in-law’s sister. I got to see my adorable nephews in tuxes since they were the ring bearers! The nuptials took place at the Birchwood Golf Club with the ceremony overlooking the beautiful view from the first hole. Now you can’t tell from the photos, but Taylor was really, really ill the night before the wedding–as in, on-an-IV-vomiting-in-bed ill. Mindy was very concerned wedding morning (as he was still sick) but she managed to keep smiling. Taylor overcame the physical and mental battle and was feeling better in time for everything to begin. The toasts were very personal, emotional and beautiful. The party was a ton of fun–Mindy’s mom and step-dad came up with a rap for the bride and groom and performed it in front of everyone, and the live band kept everyone dancing well into the night. I LOVED seeing the bridal party light off sky lanterns at the end of the night. They were so pretty as they floated up into the darkness. Congratulations Mindy and Taylor!
